Gene and Lensry ate and ran to bed.sleeping and snored.The next day they went to school. At school, Lensry got yelled at,Gene got a Perfect score. Lensry Linerbow! her Teacher said. Aways Perfect as usual Gene said his Teacher.Lensry got yelled at home too. bummer she said.

A Type 4 Sentence has a subject, a verb, an indirect object, and a direct object. This type of sentence shows who is receiving something and what is being given.

Examples

I give her a gift.
- I (subject) + give (verb) + her (indirect object) + a gift (direct object)
They send me a letter.
- They + send + me + a letter
She told him a story.
- She + told + him + a story

Features

Two Objects: There is an indirect object (the person receiving something) and a direct object (the thing being given).
Clear Action: It shows who is doing the action, who is receiving the action, and what the action is directed toward.

Compare with Other Sentence Types

Type 1: Subject + Verb
- Example: I run.
Type 2: Subject + Verb + Complement
- Example: She is happy.
Type 3: Subject + Verb + Object
- Example: I eat an apple.
Type 4: Subject + Verb + Indirect Object + Direct Object
- Example: I give her a gift.

Features
