While reading a magazine about board games, I pondered which game is the most popular. After some research, I concluded that Ticket to Ride holds that title. Ticket to Ride is a board game designed for 2 to 4 players. To set up the game, the board is placed in the center of the table, each player selects 45 train markers in their preferred color, one point marker, and three train station markers. The train card deck is shuffled and 4 cards are distributed to each player. Additionally, three destination ticket cards are handed out, of which players must choose at least two to keep secret. The remaining destination ticket cards form a deck, and 5 cards are placed face-up. On each turn, players can choose from several actions, including drawing a train card, claiming a route by discarding train cars of the same color, drawing more destination tickets, or constructing a train station. These rules make me eager to play Ticket to Ride.
